Keep Me Travelling Along With You (CRN conference in Coventry)

crn-coventry-conferenceThe Churches Refugee Network is running a day conference on Tuesday 22 November to resource those appointed within the churches and church-related charities to welcome and support forced migrants.

To be held in the Coventry Centre for Ministry of Reconciliation, the latest information and best practice will be shared as well as pausing for prayer and offering a great opportunity to network with other practitioners.

  • Coventry Cathedral’s Canon for Reconciliation Ministry, Sarah Hills, will lead litany of reconciliation and prayer.
  • James Davies, a senior immigration advisor with International Care Network, will talk about The Immigration Act 2016.
  • A final panel will debate ‘Post-Brexit Britain – Refugees Unwelcome? What does the future hold?’ with Shari Brown (Restore, Birmingham), Sarah Hills (Coventry Cathedral) and Martin Kettle (Church of England adviser on home affairs policy), chaired by Bishop Jonathan Clark.
