The Refugee Response: Churches Together South London

Churches Together South London bannerChurches Together in South London are holding a biannual network gathering on Tuesday 17 May at 6pm to look at the topic of “The Refugee Response“.

Contributors may include

  • We are Us about their ecumenical work in Greece and  needs that churches and individuals in London can meet right;
  • Tommy Cloherty, London Hosting Coordinator at Housing Justice;
  • Home for Good about offering homes to unaccompanied minors;
  • teenagers about making their school into a #RefugeesWelcome school;
  • potentially some young refugees themselves;
  • and maybe even Joy Carter an actress/writer/comedian who was herself adopted from Nigeria and is now working alongside adoption and fostering bodies to encourage uptake as part of the refugee response.
